Learn about Champagne Cuillier sustainable initiatives and find out why we decided to plant trees and cover crops in the vineyards.
Agroforestry is an ancient agricultural practice which combines trees and crops, vines in our case. It helps to protect soil fertility and biodiversity.
Champagne Cuillier is a family estate located 10 kilometres north of Reims. The 4.5 hectares of vineyards are spread across three locations, Pouillon, Trigny and Chenay, bringing together a mosaic of extremely varied terroirs. The great diversity of sandy soils, particularly favourable to growing Pinot Noir and Meunier, gives the champagnes their aromas, structure and unique characteristics.
Accompanied by a tightly knit, passionate team, the estate is committed to sustainable viticulture that is respectful of the environment. It aims to reduce the human footprint and optimise interaction with the ecosystem.
